Mybed Hostel, Perfect for Privacy with Fully Equipped Facilities

Finding an affordable hotel along Ratchadaphisek and Lat Phrao roads in Bangkok is not easy, especially one near the MRT. Mybed Hostel is just 50 meters from Lat Phrao Station, making transportation very convenient without the need for additional transfers.

There are also great shopping spots nearby, such as Chatuchak Market, Ratchada Night Market, Central Department Store (Lat Phrao branch), and Union Mall.

The hostel offers two types of rooms: single and double beds. The decor is modern and stylish. The approximate price range is below 1,000 THB for a single bed and 1,000-3,000 THB for a double bed. Thai Traveler booked a single bed in early March via Booking.com for 420 THB.

The location can be a bit tricky to find, and you may need Google Maps for directions. Additionally, reaching the hostel requires crossing a pedestrian bridge from the MRT station, which can be tiring if carrying heavy luggage. The front desk staff is friendly, speaks English, and provides a brief tour explaining how to use the key card, bathroom locations, and breakfast times.

After reaching the 3rd floor, guests must remove their shoes before heading to the dormitory on the 4th floor. The large dorm houses 15 people with well-separated upper and lower bunks.

Thai Traveler’s bed was on the lower level (A14). The facilities require a key card to activate, including the bedside light and power socket. Each bed has a small safe, a space to place a backpack, and a curtain at the entrance for privacy.

The mattress is comfortable, though the space can feel a bit tight. However, with proper ventilation and strong air conditioning, the environment is pleasant. There is also a TV for entertainment.

The bathrooms and showers (two each) are located on the 3rd floor, which is slightly inconvenient. Towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hairdryer are provided.

The 1st floor has a computer workstation, as well as a social and dining area.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, featuring a tasty meat porridge with self-service toppings, toast with butter and jam, and unlimited instant coffee and water. Used dishes should be placed in the designated collection area.

At a discounted rate of 420 THB, the hostel offers a comfortable stay and a satisfying breakfast, making it a great value for money!
