Jeanong Sticky Rice

Jeanong's sweet sticky rice is located inside Tao Poon Market. Though it's a simple stall offering only two varieties (white and purple sticky rice), it's incredibly popular, often requiring a wait in line. Most buyers are women preparing it for their children.

Both the white and purple sticky rice are cooked to perfection—fragrant, chewy, and infused with coconut milk’s sweetness. It pairs well with coconut-based toppings, making for a delicious treat.

It can also be drizzled with coconut milk, similar to mango sticky rice, just without the mango.

One pack costs 13 THB (previously 10 THB) and is wrapped in banana leaves for enhanced flavor.

Thip Rot Ice Cream

Thip Rot Ice Cream (ไอสครีมทิพย์รส) is a historic ice cream shop in Tao Poon with 47 years of history. It was one of the first businesses established by Chinese immigrants in the area.

Now in its third generation, the shop is occasionally managed by the owner's granddaughter.

The shop offers over 100 flavors, available in various container sizes.

Most customers order the "Signature Ice Cream," which consists of two scoops of ice cream (with over ten flavors to choose from) and one topping, such as sticky rice, corn, or red beans.
