Chonburi Coastal Bridge

The coastal bridge, also known as the Cholmarkwithi Bridge (สะพานชลมารควิถี), is an 84th-anniversary memorial bridge. It extends from Prayasajia Kiri Road in Chonburi City to Pas Petra Road, reaching the Bang Sai District.

Approved for construction by the National Environmental Committee in 2013, the bridge officially opened on November 16, 2016. It is located not far from Bang Saen and Khao Sam Muk beaches.

It takes only about one hour to get there from Bangkok.

The bridge is over 7 kilometers long, with three lanes towards Bangkok and two lanes towards Bang Saen.

Besides easing local traffic congestion, the bridge has also become a tourist attraction, drawing many visitors.

Standing on the bridge, you can gaze into the distance and admire the vast ocean view. If you visit Chonburi, consider taking a drive across the bridge or stopping by one of the nearby cafes. A sunset stroll here is highly recommended!
